This Saturday! During Maple Weekend! Breakfast Buffet to benefit the library... The "all you care to enjoy" breakfast will be held at the Harrisville United Methodist Church in the Social Hall, starting at 8:30 AM - 11:30 AM Menu to include: Sausage Gravy and biscuits, scrambled eggs, French toast, pancakes, ham, sausage patties, beverages and more! And of course- Maple Syrup! For more info call the library!

What's happening at our library!

National Library Week will be observed April 12-18, 2015 with the theme, "Unlimited possibilities @ your library®." Please join us as we open the library up for special activities and programs all week long! We are kicking off the spring season and getting ready for summer! Ongoing displays and hands on crafts, Summer Reading sign-up, special drawings, snacks and more! For this summers' reading program we will be checking out all kinds of Hero's with the theme "Every Hero has a story". Every child that signs up during this week will get a special bag of goodies. On Wednesday Night 6 PM we will have a special presentation from the SCI-TECH in Watertown. This program is geared to all children pre-K - 5th grade with their parent(s). Younger children are welcome to attend, but space is limited! On Thursday TEENS get out your guitar- real, fake, whatever you have, as we jam - "Guitar Hero's" at 6 PM. Friday Night it's movie night at the library! And what better way to start out then with a couple good Hero Movies! At 6 PM rated PG BIG HERO 6 is playing for the younger crowd. At 8 PM It's Mockingjay part 1 for the 13 and up crowd, rated PG 13. Parental permission is required for all kids without a parent present. We will be having Library Amnesty....bring in your overdue library materials in good condition and we will forgive your fines! Also if you have old fines and materials have all been returned we will forgive those fines as well....you must come in or call and ask for amnesty!
